达特茅斯学院工程科学专业集中于增强学生解决问题的能力,比起单纯的工程专业,更会授予实用技能帮扶,当然入读前需要满足一些前置课程,在毕业之前也需要完成一些项目实践,下面就随tops留学老师一起认识下吧!
一、专业介绍
达特茅斯大学工程科学专业的候选人学习综合许多领域的概念,也有机会专攻选定的领域。他们可以加入多学科研究团队,并与教师和研究生合作。计划攻读BE学位并对特定工程领域感兴趣的AB候选人可以在设计个人程序时使用各种示例程序作为模型。学生也可以选择辅修工程科学来补充其他学科的专业。
同时,所有工程专业的学生在获得工程学士学位之前首先获得文学学士学位(AB)。许多人在四年内获得AB和BE学位,而其他人则选择增加五年的学习。
对工程感兴趣的达特茅斯学生有机会创建一个既具有工程深度又具有工程广度的学习项目,时间灵活,可以从事本科研究、出国留学或探索工程以外的学术和课外兴趣。
二、入学前提
对微积分、物理、化学和计算机科学有基本的了解。对这个专业感兴趣的一年级学生应该参加数学分班考试。
